This page explains what Sherwood Wallet does with information. It matches how the software works today.
Who we are
Sherwood Wallet is a self-custody Chrome extension for Robinhood Chain (chain IDs 4663 and 46630). You do not create an account with us. Contact: support@sherwoodwallet.org.
Sherwood Wallet is independent software. It is not issued by Robinhood or Robinhood Markets.
No accounts
We do not ask you to register. We do not run a backend that stores your wallet, balances, or recovery phrase.
What stays on your computer
The encrypted wallet, settings, extra tokens, RPC overrides, connected-site permissions,
and language stay on this computer in chrome.storage.local. The session
unlock flag uses chrome.storage.session. Those stores are not sent to us.
What leaves the computer
To show balances, quotes, and activity, the wallet calls public infrastructure: the
Robinhood Chain RPC (rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com on mainnet,
rpc.testnet.chain.robinhood.com on testnet), DexScreener and GeckoTerminal
for some prices, token icon CDNs, and explorer pages
(robinhoodchain.blockscout.com /
explorer.testnet.chain.robinhood.com) for transaction links and NFT lists.
NFT images may load from the metadata host or an IPFS gateway. Those operators can see IP
addresses and the on-chain requests you make. We do not receive a copy of that traffic.
Custom RPC
If you set a custom RPC in Settings, that node can see addresses you query and transactions you send. Chrome will ask permission for that host. Only use a node you trust.
Sites you connect
Sherwood Wallet injects a provider into pages you open so a site can request accounts and signatures. That site can see the address you approve and the messages or transactions you sign.
This website
The marketing site at sherwoodwallet.org does not use analytics pixels, advertising cookies, or an account system. The host that serves the pages may keep ordinary web logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for operations and abuse prevention. We do not sell that data.
Recovery phrases
The phrase is created and stored only on your computer. Sherwood Wallet cannot read it from this website. Anyone who has the phrase can move the funds.
Children
This product is not directed at children. Do not use it if you are not old enough to enter a software agreement in your region.
Changes
We will update this page if the software starts collecting something new. The date at the top will change.
